The Tremendous Power of Pivoting

Making life pivots can feel risky but I've never regretted a single one.

I’m not a subtle pivot-er.

My pivots have been pretty piercing and total leaps of faith in the past but when I reflect back on my life, I feel really proud of myself for truly LIVING my life. And doing so while led wholly by my intution is kind of a big deal!

Not every pivot has to be giant, though. I’m a HUGE fan these days of gentleness, softness, and having immense compassion for ourselves when we feel that call to change things up.

Today, I’m talking about honoring the call of the pivot, a recent practical example of how my intuition led me to my new therapist (and how that’s helping my pivots lately), and some big sister reminders to help make you brave while being kind to yourself along the way.

Do you find yourself pivoting lately?

Do you feel the call to pivot but maybe you’re side-eye-ing it or ignoring it all together?

Have you pivoted and things worked out better than expected?

Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,

Krystal

The FOMO of Leaving Social Media & Letting People Come to Me

Leaving the socials isn’t something I necessarily have to be sharing about. However, talking it out in video and writing about it helps me unpack the nuances of why I haven’t already done it yet.  The foremost of those reasons being…

FOMO.

Ah yes, the good ‘ol fear of missing out. With Instagram being such a normalized meeting place for people through personal connections, businesses, artists, and beyond, I’m genuinely concerned that I’ll be cutting myself off from the elements of the app that I DO enjoy.

I’m sending this week’s Vlog your way where I’m sharing raw reflections like:

  • If I’m not on the apps, how will I be seen in what I’m creating in the world?

  • The FOMO of going “first” and the costs that come with it

  • Restructuring how I connect with you and learning how to let people come to me if they like what I’m creating

This whole decision is a vulnerable one. It really is.

My history in the coaching industry hangs over me creating pressure to “know all the answers” or at least present like I do. I can’t pretend anymore, especially when I don’t know entirely that this is the right move or a foolish one.

Something I’ve shared with my mentoring clients countless times over the years that I’ve been reminding myself about is that we don’t need to know the “how”. Our only job is to follow our soul/heart’s call and let our intuition lead the way.

My spidey sense is telling me that this is going to open up a lot of new pathways for me that I feel ALIVE while walking them. That’s the making of a life I want to be living. A true reclamation indeed.

Does FOMO get to you, too? I’d be curious to hear how this video or topic resonates with you. You can also comment on the video if you feel inspired. Either way, I really love connecting with you about the real stuff going on in our lives.

As always, if you’re ever curious about mentoring together, you’re always welcome to explore more of it here. Guiding soulful hearts like yours to align with more ease, more creativity, and more expression is my highest honor in this life.
